Fulbourn Cinema - H is for Hawk

Fulbourn Cinema returns with it's next screening H is for Hawk. Starring Claire Foy, it tells the real-life story of Helen, a woman dealing with grief following the sudden death of her father.

Helen loses herself in memories of time spent with her dad birdwatching and exploring the natural world. Turning to the ancient art of falconry, she trains a wild goshawk named Mabel as a way of navigating her profound loss. However, as she teaches Mabel to hunt and fly free, Helen begins to realise how deeply she has neglected her own emotions and life. What begins as an act of endurance becomes an intimate journey of resilience and healing.

Drinks and snacks will be available from the Fulbourn Institute Sports and Social Club bar, and seating is arranged around small tables for a relaxed, sociable atmosphere.
