Tucked away at the back of the Granary, overlooking the brook and fen, is a small orchard with a big history. Dating back to the 1930s, the fruit grown here was eaten at High Table at Corpus Christi College and used for jam-making by the famous Chivers & Sons!
This lovely old orchard is now open to visitors (on dry days). Pull out a rug, take a seat on the picnic benches and enjoy coffee, cold drinks, cakes and ice cream from a beautifully restored horse box.
