RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes

Nestled by the banks of the river Great Ouse, and less than half an hour from Cambridge, RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes is an oasis for wildlife and people. You’re never far from water and wildlife. Explore tranquil wooded paths and glimpse secluded bays and pools. You won’t be able to miss majestic mute swans but you’ll need to look a little harder to see the many colourful insects. The lakes are alive with the sound of reeds rustling, birds warbling and bees a buzzin’. With 16 km (10 miles) of trails to explore there’s always something to see.
